Booking a Water Babies Birth Pool couldn’t be easier, and because we are a small local company you can be guaranteed a very personal service.

Firstly call us with details of your baby’s due date so we can confirm that a pool will be available. Due to high demand, we do recommend you book a pool well in advance of your baby’s arrival.

We suggest you book the pool from 2 weeks prior to your baby’s estimated due date. If however you want it earlier or later just let us know. Because of our limited delivery area (Swansea, Gower, Carmarthen), we have in the past been able to deliver and set up a pool when a mum went into early labour….we definitely wouldn’t recommend this, but it means we’re flexible!

We will then send you 2 copies of our terms and conditions of hire. In order to confirm booking, just sign and return 1 copy along with a deposit of £50 (sorry - non-refundable), the 2nd copy is for your records.

A few days before you would like the pool to be delivered we normally call to check everything is still progressing as planned and to arrange a delivery time.

Delivery is free (unless you live a long way from Swansea i.e. Bridgend, Carmarthen etc), and pools are set up personally in the room of your choice at home. We like to ensure you are fully confident and happy with the filling and emptying of the pool while we are there, this will then limit any possible stress when actual labour begins. It also means we are able to answer any questions you may have regarding water births in person.

After your baby has been born, and you are ready for the pool to be taken down, just remove the disposable liner and give us a call for collection. We are normally able to collect the pool within 24-48hours.
